Susan Cade
Artistic Director and Co-founder of Pages to Pirouettes; BA Music/Dance, Ithaca College; MEd Early Childhood Education, University of Illinois.

While working in Washington D.C., performed various soloist roles in The Nutcracker, La Sylphide, Pas de Quatre, Paquita, Concerto Barocco and contemporary choreography with several regional companies. In addition, performed Stravinsky's "The Soldier's Tale" and was an extra with American Ballet Theatre and Paris Opera Ballet Company in Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet and Swan Lake at the Kennedy Center.

After moving to Philadelphia, she completed a Pedagogue course of the Russian Vaganova Syllabus.

In 2010, Susan staged, "The Nutcracker" with The Turks and Caicos Friends of the Arts Foundation in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos on 70 local children and adults. She continues to travel there each summer (2009-present) to conduct Theatre/Arts workshops at the Edward C. Gartland Youth Centre.

Since 2009, Susan and her partner Tatyana Shargorodsky have been teaching Senior & Chair Ballet in multiple retirement communities across the Delaware Valley. The program has been carefully designed to accommodate the participants' abilities and needs. The objective is to help seniors with their daily challenges such as balance, memory, strength and stability.

Tatyana Shargorodsky
Pianist Tatyana Shargorodsky was born in the Ukrainian city of Lvov, in the former Soviet Union. Upon completing her musical education in Odessa, Tatyana worked as an accompanist at the prestigious rhythmic gymnastic school. There she discovered her true calling in life.

In 1982, Tatyana emigrated to the United States and began working for the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet in Narberth, Pa. In addition to the ballet accompanist position, she completed the Pedagogue course of the Russian Vaganova Syllabus taught by the highly acclaimed ballet teacher John White.

Today, Tatyana has a dual career as a teacher and accompanist. Ballet and music are her passion. In addition, as a cofounder of Whitefeather Productions, Tatyana produced and recorded multiple ballet class CDs that are currently sold worldwide.

Since 2009, Tatyana and her partner Susan Cade have been teaching Senior & Chair Ballet in multiple retirement communities across the Delaware Valley.
